SEO results for clients vary greatly depending on the competition and the monthly investment. Competition is high if your competitors are doing SEO, have websites that have been online longer than yours, have a big social media presence, have good quality links, have many blog posts on their website, blog regularly, and have lots of reviews on Google Plus.

RESULTS

The client contacted us in February 2015 following a big decline in organic traffic in January 2015 compared to January 2014 and they wanted this to be investigated. We started SEO in March 2015. This website is an online store and also has physical locations throughout Australia. We employed all our normal SEO strategies to the website and managed to increase the orgainc SEO traffic in Jan 2016 to almost double that of 2015 and also to a higher level then 2014. Client was extremely happy

Industry – Computer Repairs

Investment – $2000 a month for 8 months then $550 a month for a year. Client now does their own SEO

Business with High Online Competition

Problem: New website and client getting 6-7 clients a week and wanted 2-3 jobs a day

Total Investment by Client – The client is a couple and Karen was trained to do their SEO and between us the equivalent of about $2000 a month worth of work was done on the site for the 1st 8 months. This was scaled back to a maintenance level of around $400-$500 a month and then to around $250 a month.

RESULTS

This was a new website. We started doing SEO for the site in August 2013. They were getting 6-7 clients a week and making $4,060 a month. By implementing the right SEO on the site the business has grown so that in March 2014 they were getting around 2-3 jobs a day (from about 6 calls a day) and $12,600 a month.  They have tripled their business and now have more work than they can cope with and are hiring staff to cope with the demand.

Karen loved doing SEO so much that she now has her own business doing SEO for other clients.

This was a brand new website. We started doing SEO for the site in Sept 2013. They were not getting any enquiries. It took eight months to get the 1st enquiry in May 2014. The phone calls kept increasing over time and by July 2015 it was up to 5 enquires a week (for this business 2 a week is good). They now have a 2 month waiting list and they are going on an SEO break for 3 months.

Points to note where it might take even longer to get these kind of results.

1. If your website has links that are low quality and need to be removed, or a backlink profile that needs significant adjustment it would take significantly longer to get the same results.

2. You are in a more competitive niche where it takes longer to bring you leads. You are in a less competitive niche and it takes less time to bring you leads. Your competitors are also doing lots of work on their sites.

3. You have low numbers of people searching online for your products or services
